    If you wish to go into church for private prayer please contact Danny Walker on the number below who will arrange for the church to be opened for you.

    We continue to be available to support anyone in need in our community. If we can help in any way with shopping, picking up prescriptions etc for people who are unable to leave their home or anything else please contact us

    Lord Jesus Christ,

    you taught us to love our neigbour,

    and to care for those in need

    as if we were caring for you.

    In this time of anxiety, give us strength

    to comfort the fearful, to tend the sick.

    and to assure the isolated of our love and your love,

    for your name's sake. Amen.

    Merciful God,
    we entrust to your tender care
    those who are ill or in pain,
    knowing that whenever danger threatens
    your everlasting arms are there to hold them safe.
    Comfort and heal them,
    and restore them to health and strength;

    to all who are caring for the sick,
    and your wisdom to those searching for a cure.
    Strengthen them with your Spirit,
    that through their work many will be restored to health;

    Welcome to the website of the united Benefice of Easington with Liverton. We are part of the Diocese of York in the Church of England.

    Our benefice is situated on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast and comprises of three churches:

    • All Saints, Easington
    • St Hilda's, Liverton Mines
    • St Michael's, Liverton.

    We are a friendly benefice and we can assure you of a warm welcome.

    There is always something going on at our churches. We try to make our worship accessible, understandable and relevant to life in the 21st Century.

    We are committed to being at the heart of our local community. We hold many social events throughout the year to which everyone is warmly invited. We also run a project to support young people and families in Liverton Mines.

    We are also always happy to have a chat with you about Baptisms (Christenings), Confirmation, Weddings or Funerals.

    We look forward to welcoming you to our churches.
